SEPT 21 2O19 // HILLSBURGH, ON // CARROT STOCK // EVERDALE FARM // 12-8PM
Carrot Stock is a one day music festival fundraiser for a great cause.
We've got an awesome lineup of local bands including: Alysha Brilla & the Brilltones, Gary Farmer & the Troublemakers, Annie Sumi, Royal Castles, Nicolette & the Nobodies, Duncan Ivany and the North Coast Band, The Funky Mamas and The Lofters! We've got delicious food made by the SEED's Upcycle Kitchen. We've got beer and cider from Side Launch, Heartwood & GoodLot. We've got all the goodness of previous Carrot Fest including Carrot harvest, farm activities, and the World's Largest Carrot Cake.
Our goal is to raise $30,000 for the Good Food Project - a project of the SEED & Everdale that is increasing fresh food access for low income community members of Guelph/Wellington. Everdale, a not-for-profit farm, is growing fresh local food that is being distributed through the SEED's programs and social enterprises by finding other ways to make this food more affordable to our community. In other words, the more money we raise at Carrot Stock, the more local food we can distribute to our community!
We will have free buses leaving from downtown Guelph all day!
Thank you to our awesome sponsors! Indigenous Healing & Wellness Guelph, Bela Farm, Market Fresh, Food Rescue.ca, Walmart Foundation, Taste Real, Our Food Future (City of Guelph & County of Wellington), Gambles Ontario Produce, GoodLot, Heartwood Cidery, & Side Launch Brewery.
Take a break from the city and come out to enjoy the fresh air, music, food, drinks and, of course, carrots. All in support of a community where we all have enough good food.
